Notaries Public - Alternative Application Procedure for Appointment

Synopsis:

Repealing requirements for State senatorial approval of notary public applications; repealing a related residence requirement for a notary public who lives in the State; requiring an applicant to obtain a notary public application only from the Secretary of State; prohibiting a notary public applicant from using specified photocopies or other reproductions for a certain purpose; modifying provisions relating to suspension or removal from office; etc.
