Family Investment Program - Qualified Employment Opportunity Employees - Newly Created Jobs

Synopsis:

Requiring business entities that propose to hire recipients of Family Investment Program (FIP) benefits to make a certification to the Department of Human Resources or a local department of social services that positions for which FIP recipients will be hired are newly created positions and will pay a specified wage; requiring the Secretary of Human Resources to provide assistance to the local departments of social services in identifying newly created jobs that will pay a specified wage; etc.
