Implementing recommendations of the Task Force on Maryland's Dairy
Industry; establishing an Advisory Committee on Milk Pricing and a
Maryland Milk Fund; authorizing the Secretary of Agriculture to
establish fluid milk marketing areas, presumed costs to distributors,
and producer prices; requiring distributors of fluid milk to be
licensed by the Secretary; prohibiting the buying or selling of milk
below the presumed costs except under specified circumstances; etc.
