Physicians - Intractable Pain - Prescribing or Administering Controlled Dangerous Substances

Synopsis:

Authorizing a physician to prescribe or administer controlled dangerous substances to individuals for treatment of intractable pain; prohibiting the Board of Physician Quality Assurance from taking specified disciplinary action against a physician who prescribes or administers controlled dangerous substances to an individual for the treatment of intractable pain; specifying the application of the Act; specifying that the Act does not affect the power of the Board to take specified disciplinary actions against a physician; etc.
