Evidence - Out of Court Statements

Synopsis:

Expanding a provision of law to allow in civil proceedings out of court statements made by a child under the age of 12 who is either the victim of an alleged offense, the child alleged to need assistance in the case, or a witness to such an offense against another child; requiring the court to make a specified finding on the record; authorizing the admission into evidence under specified circumstances of specified out of court statements made by specified children who are witnesses to specified offenses against another child; etc.
