Compulsive Gambling

Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) to establish an Office of Compulsive Gambling in DHMH for the coordination of treatment for compulsive gamblers; requiring the Secretary to make specified grants for treatment programs and to adopt specified regulations for compulsive gambling services; requiring the Secretary to appoint an advisory committee within the Office of Compulsive Gambling; and providing for the membership, powers, and duties of the advisory committee; etc.
