Mandated Health Insurance Benefits - Process of Evaluation

Synopsis:

Establishing a joint legislative committee on mandated health insurance benefits; requiring the committee to review and evaluate the costs of mandated health insurance benefits on an annual basis; establishing a maximum cost allocable to mandated health insurance benefits under health benefits policies as a percentage of the State average annual wage; and repealing the establishment and authority of the Interdepartmental Committee on Mandated Health Insurance Benefits.
