Child Support - Incarcerated Parents

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a court from awarding or modifying child support against a person who is incarcerated in this State until the court has notified the person at least 30 days prior to entering or modifying the award that the person has a right to submit a written response to the initial pleading or request for modification and has considered as part of the evidence any timely response submitted from the person; establishing a grace period for an award or modification of child support against certain incarcerated persons; etc.
