Consumer Health Information Act

Synopsis:

Requiring the Health Education and Advocacy Unit of the Division of Consumer Protection in the Office of the Attorney General to collect and to disseminate to the public specified information concerning health maintenance organizations, alternative health care systems, and specified licensed physicians; requiring the State Board of Physician Quality Assurance, the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Maryland Insurance Administration, the Health Care Access and Cost Commission, and court clerks to submit specified information; etc.
