Synopsis:

Requiring the notification of victims and victims' representatives about specified postconviction proceedings and hearings on motions for new trials; authorizing victims and victims' representatives to attend specified postconviction proceedings and hearings on motions for new trials; and requiring the State's Attorney to notify a victim or designated family member of any appeals to the Court of Special Appeals and the Court of Appeals.
