Health Care Access and Cost Commission - Modifications and Clarifications

Synopsis:

Repealing the authority of the Health Care Access and Cost Commission to develop a payment system for health care services; authorizing the Commission to promote consumer awareness about capitated health care services, practitioner charges, and payor reimbursement information; requiring the Commission to require payors to use coding edits and to make the general standards for coding edits in descriptive terms available to health care practitioners on request; etc.
