Child Abuse - Investigations

Synopsis:

Requiring each local department of social services that receives a report of suspected child abuse to immediately notify the appropriate law enforcement agency; and requiring that the local department of social services and appropriate law enforcement agency enter into a cooperative arrangement and to investigate thoroughly each report of suspected abuse in accordance with that arrangement.
