Synopsis:

Authorizing an individual to seek relief by filing with the court a petition that alleges the commission of any of specified acts against the individual by a respondent; requiring a petition to be under oath and to contain specified information; authorizing the address of a petitioner to be stricken or omitted from the petition and other documents filed with the court under specified circumstances; authorizing the court to issue a temporary peace order to protect a petitioner; etc.
