Travel Agents - Bonding Requirement

Synopsis:

Requiring a seller of travel or an independent agent to file with the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General specified evidence of financial security; requiring a seller of travel to file with the Division a list of independent agents affiliated with the seller of travel; authorizing the Division to make waivers; defining terms; providing for penalties; authorizing a person injured by a violation of the Act to file a civil suit for damages; etc.
