Municipal Corporations - Authority to Regulate the Possession or Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in Public Places

Synopsis:

Authorizing the governing body of a municipal corporation to adopt ordinances or resolutions to regulate the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places located within the boundaries of the municipal corporation; and defining "public place" to mean a parking lot, common area, or general common element of a leased residential property, a condominium, or a homeowners association.
