Natural Resources - Nongame and Endangered Species Conservation Act - Penalties and Searches

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Secretary of Natural Resources or a designated hearing officer to assess and to collect a fine for violations of the Nongame and Endangered Species Conservation Act; making criminal penalties apply only to willful and knowing violations of the Act; authorizing the State to attach a lien on real or personal property if a person fails to pay the civil fine; requiring business records to be searched at the accused's business; etc.
