Crimes - Escape - Weekend and Periodic Sentences

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person who has been ordered by a court to report to a correctional facility for service of a sentence, including weekend and other intermittent sentences, to knowingly fail to appear for service of the sentence in violation of the court order; making a violation an escape; providing penalties; making a person who violates the Act liable for expenses incurred in returning the individual to the correctional facility; and generally relating to escape.
