Pedestrian Rights and Rules - Lane Dividers - Prohibitions

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from standing on lane dividers; exempting a person performing maintenance or construction work authorized by the State or a local government, a person directly involved in an emergency situation, and a pedestrian standing on a lane divider pausing for the first opportunity to cross the roadway safely from the prohibition against standing on lane dividers; subjecting a person who violates the Act to a $500 fine and a misdemeanor conviction.
