Entitled:
Crimes - Cruelty to Animals - Animals Used by a Law Enforcement Unit

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from intentionally inflicting bodily harm, disability, or death on an animal used by a law enforcement unit, except in the case of self-defense; and authorizing, as a condition of sentencing for a person convicted under the Act, a court to order the person to participate in psychological counseling that is to be paid for by the person.
