Graveyard Desecration - Discovered Disturbed Burial Sites

Synopsis:

Requiring an individual who discovers a disturbed burial site to report the discovery to a law enforcement officer within 24 hours; requiring a State's Attorney to report to the Maryland Historical Trust if remains are found by an individual working for a professional archaeologist or on State-owned land; requiring a law enforcement officer to take specified actions upon notification of the location of the disturbed burial site; authorizing the establishment of local burial sites advisory boards; providing specified penalties; etc.
