Synopsis:

Altering a provision that prohibits threats against specified local officials; expanding the definition of "local official" to include appointed officials; prohibiting a person from knowingly and willfully making specified threats against a law enforcement officer; providing that the prohibition against making specified threats against an appointed official applies only to threats made during the performance of the official duties of the appointed official; defining specified terms; etc.
