Creating the Public Safety Technology Fund for assisting counties and municipal corporations in updating public safety communications systems; requiring the Emergency Number Systems Board to administer the Fund and to establish procedures for applying for grants from the Fund; requiring defendants found guilty of offenses under the Motor Vehicle Law that are punishable by imprisonment and other criminal offenses to pay a $5 court cost; requiring the court cost collections to be credited to the Fund; etc.
