Frederick County - Criminal Justice Technology Enhancement Fund

Synopsis:

Establishing in Frederick County the Criminal Justice Technology Enhancement Fund; requiring that a seven-member Oversight Committee be established to administer the Fund; requiring that each person convicted of a criminal offense in the County be assessed a $5 court charge to be allocated to the Fund; and requiring that the Oversight Committee use the Fund to purchase equipment for criminal justice and law enforcement agencies in the County.
