Juveniles - Suspension of Driver's License for Alcoholic Beverages Violations

Synopsis:

Altering a provision of law so as to require a juvenile court to order the MVA to initiate an action to suspend, for 6 months for the first offense and until the child is 21 for the second or subsequent offense, the driver's license of a child in making a disposition on a finding that the child has misrepresented the child's age or used false identification to obtain alcoholic beverages; and allowing the MVA to issue a restrictive license to a child whose license was suspended for such violations.
