Graveyard Desecration - Discovered Human Remains and Disturbed Burial Sites

Synopsis:

Requiring an individual who discovers human remains or a disturbed burial site to report the discovery to a local law enforcement officer within 24 hours; requiring the law enforcement officer to report to the Maryland Historical Trust if remains are found by an individual working for a professional archaeologist or on State owned land; requiring appropriate county authorities to take certain actions upon notification of the location of human remains; authorizing the establishment of local burial sites advisory boards; etc.
