Crimes - Crimes of Violence - Enhanced Penalty

Synopsis:

Establishing that a person who is convicted of a crime of violence may receive up to a 50% increase of the maximum sentence provided for the commission of the crime if the judge, after considering all the circumstances, determines that the increase is warranted; establishing certain procedural requirements; and providing for the application of the Act.
