Entitled:
Nonprofit Health Entity Responsibility Act of 2000

Synopsis:

Requiring nonprofit hospitals to perform an annual community needs assessment in consultation with specified persons; requiring the hospitals to develop a specified written plan; requiring the hospitals to submit a report to the Health Services Cost Review Commission; requiring the Commission to report annually on the community benefit activities of all nonprofit hospitals; making the premium tax exemption for nonprofit health service plans subject to specified requirements; etc.
