Synopsis:

Providing workers' compensation coverage to students in unpaid work-based learning experiences; establishing the components of the unpaid work-based learning experience; designating the employer of the student for purposes of workers' compensation coverage; establishing the compensation to be paid to a student injured or killed while participating in an unpaid work-based learning experience; and requiring the county board that places the student to obtain workers' compensation insurance; etc.
