Electronic Commerce Disclosure Act
Requiring specified merchants who engage in electronic commerce to
provide a telephone number and mailing address to a consumer for
billing inquiries and billing complaints; requiring the merchants of
consumer goods to disclose to a consumer the return policy of the
merchant and, if the merchant accepts returned goods, who pays for
shipping; providing that a violation of any of the disclosure
provisions of the Act is an unfair or deceptive trade practice under
the Maryland Consumer Protection Act; etc.
