Synopsis:

Establishing requirements for the execution of a durable power of attorney; requiring preprinted durable power of attorney forms sold or distributed in the State on or after October 1, 2000, to include a specified notice and to specify the duties of the agent or attorney in fact; and providing that an agent or attorney in fact who commits specified acts is guilty of embezzlement.
