Establishing the Maryland Quality Teacher Assurance Program for students who enroll in teacher education programs in the State; providing for the awarding of loans under the Program; setting eligibility standards; providing for loan repayment and debt forgiveness for a person who fulfills a 7-year service requirement; establishing maximum loan awards of $10,000; providing for specified expenses for which the loan award may be used; providing for the funding of the Program; etc.
