Providing that a limitation on an award for noneconomic damages does
not apply to an action for damages for personal injury or wrongful
death that is based on an occupational exposure that occurred before
July 1, 1986; defining a certain term; and applying the Act to cases
pending or filed on or after the effective date of the Act.
