Requiring the State Department of Education to adopt procedures for the selection and purchase of graphing calculators; requiring the Department to distribute calculators to each county based on the number of students currently enrolled in Algebra I; requiring the Governor to include $3,657,588 in the State budget for fiscal year 2001 for the Department for the purchase of the calculators; etc.
