State Procurement and Financing - Investment and Accountability Act

Synopsis:

Requiring specified contractors and subcontractors to pay employees a minimum "living wage" under specified State procurement contracts; requiring specified recipients of State financial assistance and specified health care providers receiving specified revenue levels through the State's medical assistance program to pay employees a living wage; requiring the State to pay State employees the same living wage; providing exemptions; requiring the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to set the living wage level; etc.
