Synopsis:

Clarifying the right of a child subject to a petition for guardianship to receive notice of and to object to the petition if the child is at least 10 years old when the petition is filed and offers specified evidence; clarifying the authority of the court to grant a decree of adoption or guardianship without the consent of the child subject to the petition under specified circumstances; requiring the court to consider the consent of the child subject to a petition for guardianship under specified circumstances; etc.
