POW/MIA Recognition Day
Recognizing the sacrifices of the United States armed forces personnel
who are prisoners of war or listed as missing in action and that their
families are deserving of national recognition and support for
continued priority efforts to determine the fate of those missing
Americans; and declaring the third Friday in September of each year to
be "POW/MIA Recognition Day".
