Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System - Participation by Eligible Governmental Units Subject to Required Member Contributions

Synopsis:

Authorizing eligible governmental units to approve participation in the Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System, subject to a requirement that the law enforcement officers employed by the governmental units make member contributions at 6% of the member's earnable compensation; requiring that the State actuary make adjustments to the employer contribution rates for the participating governmental units that condition participation on member contributions; etc.
