Telecommunications - Telephone Solicitations - Regulation

Synopsis:

Requiring the Public Service Commission to create, maintain, and update a database of residential telephone subscribers in the State who choose not to receive telephone solicitations; authorizing the Commission to contract with another entity to create and operate the database; requiring the database to be in operation by January 1, 2001; prohibiting persons engaged in telephone solicitation from calling any individual in the database; requiring the Commission to issue an order or adopt specified regulations, etc.
