Synopsis:

Requiring county boards of education to use teacher assistants in all classes and for all school activities in kindergarten through grade 3; establishing the duties of a teacher assistant; establishing limits on the duties of a teacher assistant; establishing specified qualifications for a teacher assistant; prohibiting a teacher assistant from working in a class if the teacher assistant is a parent or guardian of a student in the class; etc.
