Drunk and Drugged Driving - Ignition Interlock System

Synopsis:

Requiring alcohol ignition interlock systems to be used by the courts to periodically test a driver's blood alcohol level while the driver is operating a motor vehicle; requiring courts to impose the use of an alcohol ignition interlock system for a second or subsequent violation of driving while intoxicated or a third or subsequent violation of driving while under the influence of alcohol; etc.
