Department of Human Resources - Reducing Caseloads in Child Welfare Services

Synopsis:

Requiring the Governor to provide additional staff and budgetary resources to achieve appropriate staff-to-caseload ratio reductions in child protective services, foster care, kinship care, group care, and residential care cases; requiring the Department of Human Resources to employ sufficient qualified personnel to achieve the caseload reductions; requiring reports to the General Assembly on a semiannual basis through January 2005; etc.
