Community Associations - Abatement of Nuisances
Authorizing specified community associations to bring an action in
District Court to abate a nuisance based on the purchase or possession
of a controlled dangerous substance, prostitution, or the possession
of a handgun without a permit; authorizing the District Court, for a
first offense, to award monetary damages between $5,000 and $25,000 to
abate the nuisance; authorizing the District Court, for a subsequent
offense, to award monetary damages between $10,000 and $25,000 to
abate the nuisance; etc.
