Powers
Authorizing the Commissioner of Financial Regulation to make
investigations to determine whether a person has violated a provision
of law, regulation, rule, or order over which the Commissioner has
jurisdiction; authorizing the Commissioner to administer oaths,
subpoena witnesses, and require the production of documents for an
investigation; requiring the Governor to appropriate to the Division
of Financial Regulation funding for the positions necessary to
implement the Act; etc.
