Income Tax - Credit for Prescription Drug Expenses

Synopsis:

Allowing an individual a credit against the State income tax for 50% of the expenses paid by the individual for specified prescription drugs; restricting the credit to individuals who as of the last day of the taxable year are at least 62 years old; restricting the credit to expenses that are not compensated for by insurance or otherwise; limiting the credit to the lesser of $1,000 or the State income tax otherwise imposed for the taxable year; etc.
