Income Tax - Subtraction Modification - Police Auxiliary or Reserve Volunteer

Synopsis:

Altering the application of the $3,500 subtraction modification under the Maryland income tax for active members of a bona fide Maryland police agency; authorizing specified police auxiliary and reserve volunteers to qualify for the subtraction modification; altering specified qualifications for the subtraction modification; requiring a bona fide Maryland police agency to maintain specified records and provide specified reports; and applying the Act to tax years after 2000.
