Environment - Water Resources - Nitrogen Removal Technology Required

Synopsis:

Requiring counties to describe in their county water and sewer plans specified areas of special concern in which nitrogen removal technology is required under specified circumstances; requiring the Department of the Environment to adopt rules and regulations that require that nitrogen removal technology be installed on specified sewage disposal systems; and prohibiting the Department from requiring nitrogen removal technology on specified renovation or reconstruction projects with existing on-site sewage disposal systems.
