Entitled:
Safe Haven for Newborns Act

Synopsis:

Requiring a hospital, fire station, or police station to take custody of a newborn that is not more than 72 hours old and that is relinquished by a natural parent or authorized agent in a specified manner; providing specified immunity from prosecution; establishing procedures to be followed by hospitals, fire stations, police stations, and local departments of social services; and allowing the revocation of a relinquishment.
