Synopsis:

Requiring an insurer, nonprofit health service plan, or health maintenance organization that fails to pay all or part of a claim for reimbursement from specified health care providers, hospitals, or related institutions that is due to pay specified interest on the amount of the claim that remains unpaid 30 days after the claim is received.
