Crimes - Pit Bulls - Ban

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from owning, possessing, or harboring a pit bull in the State with an exception; authorizing an animal control officer to seize a pit bull found in the State except under a specified circumstance; requiring that the owner or custodian of a dog be notified of the seizure by specified methods; authorizing the owner or custodian of the dog to file a petition in a District Court for return of the dog within 10 days from seizure; requiring that the dog be destroyed under specified circumstances; etc.
