Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $1,000,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Trustees of The George Meany Center for Labor Studies, Inc. for the planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of a building located at 10000 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, for the Lane Kirkland Center for Labor and Economic Advancement, to be used to house a high technology training center and meeting spaces, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; etc.
